The 5th Edition of the EUDX Contest

Dear Contesters,

We are thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the EUDX Contest! Since its inception in 2021, this event has become a key highlight for amateur radio enthusiasts worldwide contesters. For the results of the 2024 contest, you can check them out here.

Contest Overview

The EUDX Contest is a 24-hour event featuring SSB (voice) and CW (morse code) modes. It takes place annually on the first full weekend of February. The primary goal is to establish contacts with regions within the European Union, each contact (QSO) earning participants 10 points. These regions serve both as multipliers and scoring components, but the contest’s inclusive nature also allows QSOs with stations from around the globe.

Categories and Exchange Details

The contest accommodates a wide array of participant categories, ensuring everyone can find a suitable entry point. Whether you are a seasoned operator or a newcomer, there is a category tailored for your level and interest.

  • European Stations: The exchange includes the RST signal report and the unique regional code of each European call area (comprising two letters and two numbers). A comprehensive list of these codes is available on the contest’s official rules page.
  • Non-European Stations: The exchange includes the RST signal report and the ITU Zone.

This system ensures a dynamic and engaging competition, encouraging strategic operations and global connections.

Why Participate?

The EUDX Contest marks the first important appointment in the international contest calendar. All radio stations enjoy this contest thanks to the high number of multipliers, making it an exciting and rewarding experience for participants.
