Welcome to the EUDX Contest
In the vast landscape of radio contests, characterized by a rich variety of events, the EUDX Contest stands out as an innovative and inclusive addition. The idea of creating this contest was born with the aim of offering an accessible and enjoyable experience for all amateur radio enthusiasts, both European and DX.
When we set out to conceive the idea of this new contest, we set ourselves the goal of creating something simple, an opportunity for everyone to participate and have fun. Carefully analyzing the landscape of radio contests, we found a gap: the lack of a continental event that allowed European stations to connect with each other and with other stations around the world.
Deciding to focus on stations located in European Union countries, we gave life to the EUDX Contest. This choice allowed us to create a link between the various regions of European states, generating a significant number of multiplier points during the contest.
It is important to emphasize that the EUDX Contest is not intended to remain static over time. Like all contests, it is subject to evolution and adaptation based on the needs and feedback of participants. Over the years, changes may be made to the rules and dynamics of the contest, with the aim of ensuring a fun and inclusive experience for everyone.
The EUDX Contest therefore represents not only an opportunity for amateur radio enthusiasts to compete and have fun but also an opportunity to contribute to the growth and diversification of the radio contest landscape in Europe and beyond.
